The Métis people have a long and storied history that is often overlooked or misrepresented in mainstream society. In order to help preserve and share this culture, Anthony Wingham founded metisprint.ca in 2022.

As a Cree Métis himself, Anthony was motivated by a desire to see the Métis people accurately represented in history. He felt that it was important for the Métis to tell their own story, rather than leaving the narrative in the hands of non-Métis historians. In addition, he wanted to create a website that would be a resource for others who were interested in learning about Métis history and culture. metisprint.ca is dedicated to sharing accurate information about the Métis people, and we hope that our efforts will help to preserve this unique culture for future generations.
